About the role
We are looking for a curious and creative intern who enjoys writing, researching, creating, and experimenting with different content formats.
You will work closely with the founder on content and distribution.
You will usually have clear topics, ideas, product context, references, and priorities to work from. Your job is to turn that raw material into content people want to read, watch, or engage with.
This could include founder and company posts, carousels, visuals, simple product demos, short videos, and launch content.
We already use AI and automation heavily internally. You will have access to tools that make research, ideation, and execution faster, and we want someone who can use them well while keeping their own judgment and creative voice.
About Upscrape
Upscrape builds the infrastructure companies use to access public web data reliably.
We work across extraction, transformation, monitoring, and delivery through production-grade APIs, across a growing number of platforms and use cases.
We are building our content and distribution function and want to turn the work happening inside Upscrape into clear, interesting, and useful content.
What you will work on
Depending on current priorities, you may work on things like:
- Writing posts for founder and company LinkedIn accounts
- Researching content, formats, hooks, and creative references
- Turning technical topics into simple and interesting content
- Creating carousels, simple visuals, and content assets
- Helping create short product demos and videos
- Repurposing one idea into multiple formats
- Creating content around launches, new platforms, APIs, and use cases
- Maintaining a content calendar and publishing queue
- Studying what performs well and using those learnings in future work
- Finding ideas in products, customer problems, engineering work, competitors, and industry trends
- Experimenting with different styles, formats, and content angles
The role is not limited to writing. You should be comfortable moving between research, writing, visual thinking, and execution.
What we are looking for
This role is suitable for a fresher or student who wants real hands-on experience.
We care more about your ability and taste than your degree or previous job title.
You should have:
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Good visual taste and attention to detail
- Curiosity about technology, startups, products, and businesses
- The ability to research unfamiliar topics quickly
- The ability to turn rough ideas into polished output
- Comfort using AI tools as part of your workflow
- The ability to take feedback and improve quickly
- Good judgment about what feels interesting, clear, or boring
- Ownership and reliability
- The ability to finish work and see it through to publication
This role may be a good fit if
- You regularly create things even when nobody asks you to
- You save posts, designs, videos, or campaigns to understand why they worked
- You notice when a hook feels weak, a visual feels off, or a piece of content is trying too hard
- You enjoy learning about unfamiliar subjects and figuring out how to explain them simply
You do not need to be an expert at content, design, video, or marketing already. What matters is that you learn quickly, have good instincts, and are willing to keep improving.
What you will get
- Direct access to the founder and the work happening inside Upscrape
- Real content and marketing work
- Clear direction and regular feedback
- Access to our AI, research, and automation workflows
- Freedom to experiment with different content formats
- Exposure to product, technology, marketing, and distribution
- The opportunity to build a portfolio of real work
- More ownership as you demonstrate ability
