# Blinkit data with Upscrape

Blinkit shows a different catalog, price and stock at every delivery point. Every
answer about Blinkit is an answer for one location at one time. Keep that location
and time with every number you report.

## Endpoints

| Capability | Use it to | Key inputs |
|---|---|---|
| `blinkit.location` | Check serviceability and see which point and merchants a pincode resolves to | `pincode`, or `query` (place name), or `latitude` + `longitude` |
| `blinkit.search` | Find products for a keyword, with position and sponsored flags | `query`, location, `limit` (1 to 100), `offset`, `brand` or `brands` |
| `blinkit.product` | Check one product exactly: price, MRP, stock, inventory, details | `product_id` or `product_url`, location |
| `blinkit.categories` | List departments and shelves with their IDs | location, optional `category_id` |
| `blinkit.category.products` | List products on a shelf | `subcategory_id`, `category_id` or `category_url`, location |
| `blinkit.promotions` | Find deals on the home feed, in a search or on a shelf | location, `query` or `subcategory_id`, `min_discount_percent`, `max_price`, `deal_type` |
| `blinkit.eta` | Get delivery estimates | location |

Location is one of: `pincode` (six digits, as a string), `location_query` (a place
name such as "Koramangala Bengaluru") or `latitude` + `longitude`. Send exactly one.
Every catalog endpoint takes the pincode directly; you do not need to call
`blinkit.location` first unless the user asks about serviceability.

## Rules

1. **A pincode is one point, not the whole area.** It resolves to a representative
delivery point. Say "at pincode 560102", never "in all of 560102" or "in Bengaluru".
2. **Missing from search is not sold out.** Search shows what a shopper sees for a
query. Before you say a product is unavailable, call `blinkit.product` with its ID
at the same location and report `stock_status` and `inventory`.
3. **Keep unknown, sold out and failed apart.** An out-of-stock product, a failed
request and a value that was not returned are three different answers. Never
count a missing price as zero and never drop an unavailable item from a total.
4. **A basket total needs every item in stock.** If any item is out of stock or
unpriced, list it and give no comparable total for that location.
5. **Report the merchant and the time.** Different pincodes are served by different
merchants (`merchant_id`). Keep `merchant_id` and `captured_at` with prices and stock.
6. **Use IDs across locations.** Compare the same `product_id` at each pincode. Pack
sizes of one product share a `group_id` but have different product IDs.
7. **Sponsored is not organic.** Search results carry `is_sponsored`; mention it when
   you talk about search position.
8. **Links work as input.** A product link containing `/prid/` goes in `product_url`;
a category link containing `/cn/` and `/cid/` goes in `category_url`.

## Examples

Is a product really sold out at a pincode:

1. `blinkit.search` with `{"query": "energy drink", "pincode": "560066", "limit": 40}`
2. `blinkit.product` with `{"product_id": 432768, "pincode": "560066"}`
3. Report the search position (or "not in the first 40") and the direct stock result.

Compare one product across pincodes: call `blinkit.product` once per pincode with
the same `product_id`, then return a table of price, stock, inventory and merchant ID
per pincode.

Find deals: `blinkit.promotions` with
`{"pincode": "560102", "query": "chips", "min_discount_percent": 20, "limit": 10}`.

## Cost

Requests use Upscrape credits. Search and category product lists are priced by how
many products you request (`limit`); other endpoints have a fixed price. Failed
requests are free. Ask before running large batches. Current prices:
